About our service

Our aim is to bring the magic back to your hard surfaces as quickly as possible, as efficiently as possible and with the minimum of disruption and mess.

For instance, we can offer a complete 7-point refurbishment programme for Block Paving to ensure lasting results.

Minor repairs to the drive are carried out if required.
The area is meticulously cleaned to remove the grime, dirt, weeds, lichen, moss and algae that has built up, using a very efficient 3600 psi cold water pressure washer coupled with a Rotary Flat Surface Cleaner, specially designed to contain the dirt it removes.
The surface is then examined for any remaining stains, such as Oil or Mortar and specific remedial action taken.
An optional extra is to treat the entire area with a broad-spectrum fungicidal wash to help eliminate remaining weeds and spores and to inhibit re-growth.
To fully restore the block paving to prime condition, a special kiln-dried silica sand is brushed into the joints.
To provide a long lasting finish, a high quality two coat acrylic sealer can be applied to the surface to minimise future staining, enrich the natural colour of the block paving and further discourage the growth of weeds, algae, lichen and moss.

7. The site is then cleared of any debris arising from the pressure washing and final checks carried out to ensure that we have met the high standards we set ourselves.

Other Services

Minor repairs
Some block paving suffers from subsidence. Providing the damage is not too extensive we are able to offer a repair service, subject to site visit and quotation.

Removing stains
The removal of oil stains, particularly on block-paving, becomes increasingly difficult the longer it is left untreated. This is due to the porous nature of the blocks, absorbing the carbon particles of the oil, leaving it virtually impossible to completely remove the stain.

Experience has shown that, providing the correct procedures are adopted, the success rate in completely removing oil stains is around 90%

An acrylic sealant can be applied to blocked paving that is likely to be subjected to further oil staining.

Should you discover an oil stain please call us so that we can rectify the problem quickly and inexpensively.

Other stains can usually be eradicated using the Drive Wizard system.

Applying a weed-killer
This additional service, at very little cost, will inhibit the re-growth of weeds and is especially useful on block paving.

Sealing
Should you require the area to be sealed, we recommend a high quality two coat acrylic sealer in a Semi-Matt finish, which, when dry, hardens to protect the jointing sand from being washed away. This in turn protects the sub-base from being eroded and your driveway subsiding, thereby avoiding costly repairs. It also inhibits the growth of moss and weeds, and should you get an oil spill, it can be simply hosed away. (However, it should be noted that on very rare occasions deep seated lichen spores will leave small black marks on the edges of some paviors.)
